Totally waterproof
These are what they say - totally waterproof. I've done the dip into water test and they kept my hands totally dry. Very good grip, and some insulation. Probably not enough insulation for sub zero temperatures, but if you dont like the bulky "ski" type gloves, these are the next best thing.

Great Gloves
The best all round outdoor gloves I have used. This is my second pair. The only criticism is when the temperature gets below zero and there is a bit of wind chill they are not very good. This tends to be at the top of Scottish Mountains.

Not Waterproof
I would rate these gloves only as adequate. I took them on a sailing trip and after a few hours of rain they were sodden all the way through. The effect was more like wearing wet-suit type material.

They work ok for short cycle commutes which is my primary use. Good tight fit is useful for manual dexterity.
