Excellent Lock - One Small Niggle
This is an excellent quality lock, very sturdy, and looks a great deal stronger than some of the locks I've seen protecting other bikes, tho' happily it hasn't been put to the test yet ! The additional cable is also very useful for linking the lock to my quick-release front wheel. It's also supplied with 4 keys (one with a light) which is a useful bonus. One small niggle is that its bracket is held on to the bike with a nylon webbing strap which can be tricky to place and attach, but does have the advantage of being able to fit around the non-round bars that so many bikes have these days. I'd also like to add that I accidentally knackered my first bracket, but did get some great support from OnGuard's UK distributor, Moore & Large, who happily supplied a new bracket (well, two actually, after the first got lost in the post!). I'm now an expert fitter of the bracket if anyone needs any consultancy!

Poor quality product
The lock itself is probably a super tough construction but the keys may as well be made from butter. The first time I locked my bike with this it took me an hour to get the key back out of the lock, bent beyond repair. Beware if you try and unlock this with the key not exactly on the true, even the mildest pressure will knacker it as the key is very soft (e.g. if you are bending over the bike to try and unlock it). I had to get a taxi home and back to get the rest of the keys (now we have a hint as to why so many are supplied) and a further three of them distorted on the gentlest twist. Finally the fifth key made it just as I was beginning to despair of ever getting my bike back off the rather permanent lock point. But would I ever lock that thing round my bike again? I doubt it. A waste of £23. My recommendation is buy something else which is fit for purpose.

Bulldog Shackle locs
Ordered Onguard Bulldog Shackle Lock for my newly purchased bicycle... If any potential thief is able penetrate this product without one of the five laser cut keys I would be very surprised as the quality is superb.
The addition of a dust cover over the lock is a worthwhile add on.. The product is as described and arrived within a couple of days of ordering
