This machine has two settings: "heat and bubbles" and "off". There is a pour off funnel on the front of the machine for convenient emptying.

The heater doesn't keep the water warmer for any longer than our usual old blue bowl.

The bubbles were positioned in a place were all they did was circulate and splash the water - the jets are not located under where the feet would lie. The sides are a little too low; maybe another inch or two would have been better.

There are two patterns of spikes on both sides of the "footbath" (mirror images of each other), these are very painful to put your feet on.

The spikes are 1 cm in length and just less than 2 mm wide. They are positioned in two groups (9 cm long and 3.5 cm wide) and are situated in a place that puts them under the soft instep of the foot. Without any movement, or any type of extra pressure on these spikes, they are extremely uncomfortable. There is no way of positioning your feet in the "footbath" where they can avoid these spikes.

It did cause a great deal of giggling in the house when someone pointed out that it looked like a large heated bedpan.

My feet weren't sore before they went in the "footbath" but they were when they came out; my mother's feet were tender when they went in and though she only had them in for a short time they became extremely painful.

I was under the impression that "footbaths" were meant to soothe sore and tired feet, this did the complete opposite. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

You get what you pay for!3
The title pretty much sums up my opinion on this product. It was the cheapest out there and compared to the Scholl product, which i have also tried, the quality of this product reflects the lower price tag.
This footspa features a bubble+heat function.
1)The bubbles work and i've yet to be convinced with the heat function even though the instructions state the spa will only maintain warm water and not heat up the water - the water temp was not maintained after 1hrs use.
2)Overall size of this product is small (compared to the Scholl) and i have size 10 feet so i would suggest you judge what suits you. The foot well could be deeper as i would prefer to fully submerge feet.
3)My main gripe is the 'massaging' beads that line the bottom...they are hard plastic as opposed to soft rubber, which doesn't make for a comfortable experience.
Do i recommend this product - NO. Spend a little more(relative to what you get back in terms of physical benefit!) and you'll want to use the product more often. As for me...well i'll be looking to replace it with a scholl.

    Disappointing1
Putting your feet in warm water with bath salts in any old bucket has the same effect, which is what I have been doing for many years.

The bubble has no effect what so ever, and the only way you get and massage is by moving your feet backwards/forwards but as there isn't much space for this is kind of pointless.
