Brilliant British Comedy!5
A fantastic dvd box set that I purchased before the final 2 christmas episodes were broadcast. I have since bought the dvd for these too.
The Vicar of Dibley will be a timeless comedy. Despite originally being quite a controversial subject to base a sitcom around, part of its success is probably from the stereotypical country characters taht it portrays.
The ideal programme to watch after a bad day, or anytime, I always manage to laugh at it, and have yet to grow tired of the jokes in every episode.
Maybe this box set is not the best anymore, with the ultimate collection existing, but it is still (in my opinion), one of the finest british sitcoms of all time. Highly recommended.

Complete??? Yeah who are they kidding5
I start by saying I rate this as 5 stars just because the comedy genius deserves it.

I am disapointed, I bought this as a "complete" series. Don't be under the illusion that this set contains every episode that was aired, for starters the crucial episodes where the Vicar finds her man are missing. Amazon, most unhappy, especially being an ex-pat who misses the best of British comedy.

Bad shout Amazon, you should put an N.B. at least for the money you charge.....

Really great boxset, really worth it.

Just one complaint though...

I've searched through nearly all the discs and can't find the ending episodes where the Vicar gets married. But I found a special DVD with this on amazon for around £8.
