In that inspirational series, Neale Donald Walsch showed that it is up to us to begin our own conversation. The next stage, as he explained in Friendship with God, is to take this relationship one step further. Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
Bestselling author Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations with God) moves beyond showing readers how to develop a friendship with God and instead offers a model for communion. Rather than using the dialogue format, where Walsch shares personal conversations he has with God, he chose to write through the narrative voice of God--as if God were speaking directly to the reader. "I tell you this: You need nothing to survive", says God. "Your survival is guaranteed. I gave you everlasting life, and I never took it away from you". This format can feel a bit jarring, as if this was an attempt at channelling, rather than Walsch's usual humble style of dialogue. Using a structure of top-10 illusions, Walsch has God speaking to illusions such as need, judgement and superiority. At times God sounds scolding: "For I tell you this: Your idea of superiority could be the last mistake you ever make". Yet, the bottom-line message is that of unconditional love and the exhilarating promise of communion--a gift that is lavishly offered throughout the final chapters. --Gail Hudson

absolutely mind-blowing !5
Having read most personal growth, spiritual & self-help books around, the conversation with God series definately were my favorits. Still, nothing could have prepared me for this "Communion with God". As far as I'm concerned it's the ultimate ! It brings together all the wisdoms of the conversation with God books. It inspires and uplifts you. It shows you why we often suffer in life & how it could be different. I believe it's the only book you'll ever need to read. I will continue reading it over and over again, untill the wisdoms have become part of me. Untill I can live and breath it. I wish I could share it's beauty with the rest of the world. How much more happy and fulfilled people would be. As it would show them the perfection of their own lifes. Reading this book is like a meditation. May it bring you all the joy and love and light that it's brought me.

Excellent but not the best CWG book!5
Being a huge fan of all the Conversations With God books, I am almost reluctant to offer any kind of criticism... but I will! "Communion With God" is a fitting conclusion to the series, but I personally prefer the more autobiographical approach of "Friendship With God", or the powerful simplicity of CWG book one. I feel they speak to me more directly than this, but read them all and decide for yourself!

The text here is presented as a monologue, with God speaking straight to the reader. Many of the insights have of course been presented in the previous books, but Walsch and God do present further gems here. In fact it's almost worth buying the book for the first page of the introduction alone. As with all the Conversations With God books, the writing is exceptionally enlightening and of outstanding quality. There are three sections - "The Ten Illusions" (need, failure, disunity, insufficiency, requirement, judgment, condemnation, conditionality, superiority, ignorance), "Mastering The Illusions" and "Meeting The Creator Within".

Walsch/God ends with a call to "seize the day". "Begin as you awaken, by seeing yourself as Who You Really Are, by praising all that you ever have been, and all that you have become. And begin by choosing, in this moment of grace, to become more than you have ever been or ever dreamed of being..." :o) ;o)

Elegant in its profound simplicity!5
This is a wonderful book! If you have ever yearned to know the true nature of God, your own true nature, why we are here, and the meaning of life -- then this book was written for you!

For me, reading "Communion with God" was a joyful and sometimes painful act of remembering what I have always known. My favourite quote: "You may have the life you desire, simply by choosing it!"

Read this book and fall in love with life!
