Evan Lenz is an XML developer specializing in XSLT. He recently worked for Infopop Corporation as an interface engineer, and has served on the W3C XSL Working Group, spoken at various XML conferences, and co-authored O'Reilly's Office 2003 XML. Evan holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wheaton College (IL), with majors in Piano Performance and Philosophy. He currently lives in Seattle, Washington.

What A Let Down
I have a good selection of O'Reilly Books (50-60 titles), Some I use every day, others I have found invaluable in progressing my thinking. This book proves the exception. The text is dry and functional, the content impenetrable and hard to digest. In the two years I have had this on my shelf I have opened it once and never wanted to look at it again. Everything you need to know about xslt and xpath can be found in the companion O'Reilly Pocket Reference 'XML' (Robert Eckstein with Michael Casablanca - ISBN 0-596-00133-9). If you really want to learn XSLT try XSLT Cookbook (Cookbooks (O'Reilly)) (Paperback) by Sal Mangano (Author) or XSLT (Paperback) by Doug Tidwell (Author).
