Good item, Very clear picture, easy to install in 5 minutes!.5
Autoscan worked straight away!!. Manual is easy to follow. Power everything off whilst connecting, then switch the power on your equipment i.e. TV/DVD/and the DTR2520/05. Autoscan will start on the screen and wait for it to complete.

Note; If you have an old style TV (one scart socket) you may (if applicable) find that you will have to press AV on your TV remote to see the freeview channels, then press AV again to view the standard analogue channels and vice versa.

If you know you live in a freeview area and your arial is modern mid or high gain, then you will have no problems with this unit and also, it is top up card optional. All in all no problems whatsoever with usage.

    Absolutely No Problems5
Absolutely no complaints about this box. Plugged it in and it immediately scanned to get the TV and Radio stations. Very good picture and I live in a vale where reception is normally not great.

I then subscribed to setanta sports and received a card. Put the card from setanta into the slot at the front of this freeview box and within 20 minutes I was watching the sports channel.

A friend of mine pay 4 times this for a freeview box with a card slot and picture and reception are no better than this box.

Top UP TV not available on this receiver3
Due to changes by Top-up TV it is not longer possible to get a top up card for this freeview box as Top-Up TV have withdrawn their Top-Up service from all boxes except Thomson, which they sell on their own website. I have had to return my Philips box and buy a Thomson from Amazon to replace my first choice, no reflection on Amazon or Philips, Top-Up TV themselves have created this problem for would-be purchasers
