Good for hdtvs that dont have hdmi ports plugged into my ps3 and then realised dvi doesn't let through sound so you have to buy a 2x RCA Phono Female to 1x 3.5mm Male Jack Audio Cable for sound. You can also buy the 2x RCA Phono Female to 1x 3.5mm Male Jack Audio Cable from amazon which i did and know i am able to hear and see the ps3 on my hdtv.

Works exactly as it says on the tin
After reading a couple of reviews on the product I decided to buy one. As I wanted to hook up my ps3 to my monitor.

As mentioned before it will only do the visual part, so you plug in the component cable and use the audio cables from there. You might been an adapter to convert them into 1 plug.

Using the ps3 setup screen, you simply tell it to use HDMI for visual and the component cable for Audio. Job done.
