Classic Dredd
The title gives the impression Dredd is 'the Chief Judges Man'....sneaky : )
This is another gathering of the weekly comic strips into a full story, and they have done another fine job it seems. I enjoy these Graphic Novels because you get a huge amount of Dredd in one go, which is never a bad thing. This story, without giving it all away, tells the tale of a vigilante working for the Chief Judge apparently! Dredd isn't convinced that is the case and sets off to find this apparent trouble maker. The quality of the book is impressive, its well made and conveniently sized. All the Dredd Graphic Novels by Rebellion are the same format I think, and they make for a comprehensive compendium, after the Complete case files of course, of Dredd's world. This is not up there with Judgment Day, or Apocalypse war, but its a well crafted story which shows Dredd at his best. I good buy for anyone new to Dredd or the older-hand's - 5 stars :)
