I recently bought this tv to put in my bedroom and i must say im very impressed. Works perfectly with my xbox 360 witch now has much more crisper and improved graphics. Also it has 2 scart sockets witch is very handy. Works good with freeview and dvd player. It can also be used as a pc monitor aswell witch is a nice feature. Recommended for bedroom as it gives the brilliant HD picture but doesn't dominate the room. Worth 5 stars and recommended to all. Fantastic tv.

Great picture, average sound
I bought this TV about nine months ago, following a couple of recommendations. I wanted a good value-for-money TV, and to begin with, that's what is was. It was easy to set up, had an excellent picture quality and looked good.

The only downside was the sound quality/loudness - I knew prior to buying it that (due to the depth of the unit) the speakers would not be very powerful: bass reproduction was almost non-existant. As it wasn't a larger screen TV, I knew this would be one of the compromises I would have to make to be able to afford an LCD TV with a reasonable screen size that was HD ready.

Over a few months, the sound began to get muffled/distorted - eventually I had to listen using headphones. The set has gone back to Samsung to ascertain the cause of the fault, and was replaced free of charge with the newer LE23R71BX unit under warranty.

I would have given it a 4 star rating if it hadn't been for the speaker problems.
