The arm of Thor isn't as strong as this!
Funny this isn't the first TV wall bracket I've spent time reviewing, not something I would brag about - that I spend my time doing, but I felt the need because I know how befuddling it is when looking to buy one, and how useful it can be reading someone's point of view of how it fits, how sturdy it feels etc.
Well would be buyers, I can answer those questions and more!
Firstly, no doubt like most people, I was dubious that I was going to be able to get a bracket that can hold the weight of my telly out at arms length, my TV in particular weighs in excess of 20 kilos and without getting too involved in physics, 20kgs at pretty much half a meter out is well...a hellova cantilevered weight! This thought bounced through my head once more when I opened the packing and saw three (Yes 3) bolts that were supposed to hold this thing to my wall!

Despite this, the widescreen is, and has been hanging off my wall at said distance for a month now with no signs of giving up. It took some installing mind you, the three anchor bolts they give you took the strength of a bear to screw in, it appeared at first glance that the holes I drilled were too small (They weren't) but I spose that's to make sure they don't pop out.

The overall feel once up is great, it moves solidly where you want it, stays there and moves back to anywhere else you want...all good training for that arm wrestling tournament.
There is a good cable management feature where if you can be bothered you can thread them back through the arm - all very swish.

-One gripe though, the M4 screws they supply to attach the bracket to the TV are only about 10mm long, not nearly enough for any TV arrangement I imagine, so be prepared to replace those after a visit to B&Q. (You can only buy packets of a million so you'll have supplies till you die...or for the next TV you hang off the wall).

TV bracket
I spent ages looking for a bracket for my 32" Samsung. I was a little dubious about the quality of this item because of the low price but now its installed I'm delighted.

Delivery was really fast and the item is of very high quality. Very easy to install with comprehensive instructions. Simple 3-bolt/screw installation. Heavy steel bracket which doesn't bend or sag in any way, even when fully extended. Highly recommended.

Excellent TV Bracket
I wasn't thoroughly convinced that the "movable arm" type TV brackets were any good or could hold the weight (32" Sony Bravia LCD, though it says it's good for up to 37"). I had seen some in shops for around £150 which seemed a lot.

This one came in 2 days and was pretty easy to install. Attaches to the wall (brick in my case, but says it's good for concrete/block or wooden studs too) with 3 long screws and sturdy rawl plugs, included.

I had to get my own screws to attach the TV connection (M5 machine screws) as it only came with one type (M4) but no problem from B&Q or Homebase etc. This attached ok, despite Sony's awkward positioning of all the cable sockets right in the middle of the back, and could still get the two scart leads in fine.

Didn't take long to put up, and now looks superb. Moves flat against the wall (well about 12cm away due to the fold of the arms). Pulls out easily, feels really solid, and you can tilt and rotate the TV.

Still up after 3 days, highly recommended!
