This Max Value High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) to Digital Visual Interface (DVI) cable is 2 Metres, bi-directional and has one HDMI 19 pin plug to one DVI-D 19 pin plug.
HDMI supports standard, enhanced or high-definition video plus standard to multi-channel surround-sound audio.
HDMI benefits include uncpmpressed digital video, a bandwidth of up to 5 gigabytes per second, one connector instead of several cables/connectors and communication between the video source and the DTV. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enchancements and requirements.

Good value
Got this cable and it works fine. Running Vista, I used this cable to connect the HDMI port on my Gainward graphics card (nVidia 9600GT) to the DVI connector on my Viewsonic VP171s.
It works!
I bought this cable to connect my PC (which has a graphic card with DVI outputs) to my HDTV (which has an HDMI input). And it works fine! Remember you'll need a seperate cable for the sound though.
I'm not a videophile so I can't reliably comment on how good the quality is, but it looked pretty HD to me so that's all that matters!
Very Effective
I use this cable to connect an Asus eeebox to a Sony 32V4000 LCD television with excellent results.
