so cute!
My daughter loves these Octopals. They're very cute and she likes to line up all the little babies in a row so that their eyes are facing her. They can be stuck to almost any surface in the bath with their suction cups and when you squeeze them over the bath, each one makes a different squeaky sound. Best of all, they're very easy to squeeze and so they can be kept very clean. Some squeezy bath toys grow mold if you don't empty out the water every time, and some of them are difficult to squeeze. These little guys are very squeezy and so you can be sure 99% of the water is out when you clean up after bathtime.
Ok, but...
This is a reasonable toy, but no more. There aren't that many different things to do with it, and it fills up a lot of bath space for not much functionality. My son quickly got bored with it. Plus, be careful to squeeze all the water out of every baby octopus after every bath before you store it as mildew can build up inside them (ick). Frankly, my son is happier with a plastic funnel, a plastic water bottle and a cup in the bath.... But this was a present, and so here we are.
Octopals - Squirty Fun With My Boy
I always bath with my baby and he has loved these little squirty octopals since he had them at 5 months, they, fill up nice and easy, easy for little hands to hold and squeeze I love the shocked look on his face when he manages to get me with one.
Only bad thing is the lilly-pad is quite big and the little babes don't stay on it well, it gets discarded. Also if you leave the octopals with any water in them then after a week on Holiday you need to soak them in PHP to get rid of the mossy green goop inside them. It washes away fine if you know what to look for.
