Synopsis
Every year over half of the driving tests taken result in failure, often just as a result of nerves on the day rather than due to bad driving. In addition, learner drivers may be spending much more money and time on repetitive lessons than they need to. This book shows you how to pass your driving test stress free and in fewer lessons, saving you lots of time money. Now you need to ask yourself: are you ready for that? If you already feel completely confident in your ability, believe that you can perform all the manoeuvres correctly, drive totally without your instructor's help and guidance, and are totally confident in your ability to pass your test, then don't buy this book because you don't need it. However, if there is the slightest doubt in your mind about your confidence or competence levels, or you think that 'nerves' will get the better of you on your test, then read on, this book has been written especially for you. If you are one of the ten percent of the population who is dyslexic you will know that learning to drive can present challenges for you. Therefore, a specialist chapter has been written for you using multi-sensory learning techniques to make learning easier and much more enjoyable.

If you are thinking about taking your driving test, you need to read the chapter 'Top Ten reasons for failure and how to avoid them' View this FREE now at www.Lofaway2pass.com

Can't recommend high enough!5
Previously I had been learning to drive on and off for a year or so and had failed my tests on 3 seperate occasions! Feeling frustrated, embarressed and resigning myself to the fact I would never be a 'driver' I decided to give up. That was October 2008, fast forward to October 2009 and I have now passed my driving test with just 8 hours of tuition with Diane Hall!

With her teaching methods and the tapping therapy, I was able to deal with my previous feeling towards the tests and move forward. The main thing though, was that her visualisation techniques and 'tapping' excercises created a positive thought field, reducing anxiety and for the first time I could see myself as a driver and passing my test.. I even felt less anxious on the test itself and in control! I dont know how it works but it is truely amazing... Diane is a witch - what she teaches is pure magic!

Excellent when your Instructor knows you can pass, but you have doubts!5
I found this book while searching Amazon for books to help me pass my Driving Test. I'd already obtained the various official DSA Guides on driving and the essential skills, etc but was looking for something more personal. This book was excellent. It helped me get rid of my self-doubt about passing.
It's well written, is easy to read, and puts over ideas and concepts in manageable chunks.
Among many things, it deals with different types of personality including the perfectionist (I'm a mixture!) to whom getting something less than perfect first time is such a kick that they (me!) want to give up, rather than keeping trying.
I also found the Sections on 'The Basics' (why we need to mirror, signal, etc so we understand the logic and importance of it) and the 'Top 10 Reasons for Failure' very helpful.
I have to confess that I left reading it until too close to my Test (I'd set aside a week before my Test to concentrate on Highway code, reading Driving Books and cramming in lessons) to really take advantage of the TFT / NLP exercises in the book, so have no idea how that might have reduced the number of lessons I needed, but despite that, found the book very helpful. It also has a chapter on / for Dyslexic and Dyspraxic learners, which is very interesting as I'm neither, but have been known to press the wrong pedal occasionally, or even have to wave my hand to work out which is left and right (obviously not when I'm driving)!
All in all, I found it excellent - full of common sense and encouragement. I first had lessons 30 years ago and cried with relief when I was told I'd failed! I didn't have any more lessons until last November when I felt it would be a benefit to learn (I'd moved to a poor public transport area). I passed first time (or second if you count 30 years ago!) after 40 lessons, not much practice in between, and thought the examiner was joking when he told me I'd passed!! My instructor was excellent, but this book helped me keep my nerve in between lessons!

Success with nervous driver, not driven since passing test 20 years ago!5
Emma came to me, a driving instructor specialising in helping nervous drivers, 4 years ago because she hadn't been able to get into a car and drive on her own since passing her test 20 years earlier. We had lessons together in my dual-controlled car over a period of 2 years, during which time Emma reached a high standard of driving, particularly evident in her driver thinking skills, sometimes even doing a commentary drive! Eventually Emma decided she had reached a standard where she would drive alone, but needed a car of her own, so stopped her lessons saying she would now buy a car. 6 months ago she called me again saying she had now bought a car and just wanted some 'refresher lessons', but in my dual-controlled car first. The same pattern began again: Emma got back up to standard but was still too afraid to drive alone! Then I discovered this book and recommended to Emma that she might like to give it a try. The result has been the same as expressed here by several previously nervous drivers. It has been nothing short of a miracle for me to witness the transformation in Emma - her first successful drive with me as a 'passenger', no dual controls, no rear-view mirror for me and absolutely no interventions from me, had us both close to tears of joy! Emma is at last an independent driver, having 'let go of my apron strings' and found the belief in herself she was so desperately seeking. I am now embarking on training in this method and will be including this book as part of my lessons for nervous drivers. If you are a nervous driver, then you must buy this book! In my view, success is guaranteed.
