good but a little to hard!
as the first in the franchise it makes a big impact as it has very good and enticing missions but what ever you do and where ever you go this game is hard. i would still recommend buying this game as it has some thrilling moments and is a good quallity game. Tom
GOOD WAR SIM
Great game which holds your interest throughout.
Thought the other games were great, but this edged the other slightly.
Fight your way through major WW2 battlegrounds withan array of weapons.
Okay...
Having recently bought and played through all the Call of Duty games for PS2, I would say this is the worst, compared to the other two. It may have set a new standard for WWII gaming, but it just isn't up to it now that much better FPS are out.
To be honest, I find the gameplay a bit annoying. The campaign is quite good and a decent length. However, as with the previous reviewer, there are annoying things like trying to work out how to drive the tank and crashing into walls for five minutes.
You must remember though, that this is simply compared to two other later and better engineered games. Call of Duty is still a good game.
