Customer Reviews
U2 18
In all fairness there will never be a happy medium, unless U2 bring out a complete definitive collection. The idea of U2-18 was to celebrate the 18 top tunes played world wide on the airwaves. As in the above review there should be other tracks, but this will do me fine. Great to have some of the older videos that were only available on video tape prior to this release. You can't go wrong with this dvd. I just wish that they would hurry up and release Under A Blood Red Sky on dvd !!!
Its damn about time...
That U2 put out a good compilation of classic videos from the 80s, 90s & 2000s. Unfortunately a few great videos from 'The Best of 1980-1990 are not here such as Angel of Harlem, The Unforgettable Fire, I Will Follow & All I Want is You but aside from these faults its an excellent purchase. I'm sure some people were crying out for great videos like New Years Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride, With or Without You, Desire and so on to be released on DVD considering that either Island Records or U2 deleted that other really great Best of 1980-1990 compilation DVD which in my opinion was a very stupid thing to do. Although some videos had me reaching for the skip button but thankfully not that many. Another reason that I bought this DVD is because of three different versions of the classic One video, the original version, the bono in the restaurant version and best of all the buffalo version which was previously unavailable before.
