Video Description
The moment England finally became World champions. All the
drama, all the action.
It was the moment a nation had waited nearly 40 years for. In the dying
seconds of extra time in the most dramatic game of rugby ever played, Jonny
Wilkinson kicked the winning drop goal. Martin Johnson held the Webb Ellis
Cup in his giant hands and England were the World Champions.
After six weeks of drama, courage and absolute commitment. After moments of
genius, scintillating skill and power, Clive Woodward's side had the
ultimate reward.
The greatest names in rugby, Gregan, Dallaglio and O'Driscoll, shared top
billing with a new generation of superstars - All Black Joe Rokocoko,
Fiji's Caucau, Shane Williams of Wales and France's Freddie Michelak.
A packed Telstra Stadium in Sydney on November 22 witnessed a fitting
climax to a stunning tournament. It had been the greatest Rugby show on
Earth and England were champions of the world.
Now re-released for the 2007 World Cup with Special Edition packaging.

A MOMENT FOR ENGLAND TO BE PROUD AGAIN!!!
2007's tournament was excellent & bought back all the memories of 2003. It may not have been the best game ever, as refered to by elitist Rugby fan Rupert pert in previous review, but for excitment & tension you could not beat that final. A memorable tournament topped off by an extra time dropped goal that has become one of the most played sporting clips ever. This is a must own for any Rugby fan...A gmoment reat piece of England Rugby history
Who writes this rubbish?
Given that the first Rugby World Cup was only held in 1987, how can this be "the moment a nation had waited nearly 40 years for." Unless of course the writer is referring to the 1966 football world cup? Can't see the connection myself - most English people didn't care for rugby before 2003 and, gloryhunters nothwithstanding, don't now either. As for "the most dramatic game of rugby ever played", has the writer actually seen every single game of rugby played over the last hundred and fifty years? I thought not. Just a couple of examples - what about Guscott's drop goal for the Lions in South Africa in 1997? What about the 1995 World Cup Final, which was also won with a drop goal in extra time? And don't get me started on Dallaglio being "one of the greatest names in rugby"!
