A Little Disappointed
After downloading the Demo for The Bigs 2 on Xbox Live I was excited to pre-order the game for release.
Eagerly anticipating the delivery, when it finally came I stuck it straight into the Xbox and began play.

However, after just half an hour it became quite annoying to play. Whilst the graphics, basic gameplay and modes are good. The difficulty to actually play the game came through.

Fielders can make what is known as 'Legendary Catches' which enable them to jump 10ft in the air to make a catch or stretch and dive across 10ft to make a catch. whilst it adds to the gameplay and arcade feel, it is FAR too easy to do. 'Legendary Catches' are made on a regular basis is a hit is even a little off.
What they should have done is create a power up where you have to earn the right to make a legendary catch.

Playing against the computer is good fun, if not easy. But when they constantly make legendary catches which, in real life, would have soared out of the park or over the catchers head, it can get frustrating to say the least.

Playing a friend can get heated! My little brother now refuses to play me at The Bigs 2, and I've only owned the game for 6 hours! The legendary catches on hits which should provide a base hit are very annoying.

Also, accumilating enough turbo to hit a 'Big Hit' or 'Big Slam' is far to easy and can be done 3, 4 or 5 times in a 9 innings game. Making for some unrealistic games and unrealistic scorelines.

Overall, I think The Bigs 2 is a good game, well worth the investment, purely because it's the only baseball game available for Xbox 360 that I could find, and also because the Become A Legend mode is very good fun to play.
The Season mode is very realistic. You can trade, edit and be involved in all team matters and play a full season in the MLB including The All-Star games and World Series.

But with one or two tweaks I think it could be an outstanding game.

very fun, this is not realy a simlation its more about getting points to do special moves, like jummping miles up in the sky to catch a ball stuff like that, its a more stream line arcade game.
can be a bit fustrating (getting caught out with an impossible jume can be annoying but over all (and as long as im winning) i find this a very fun and supprlsy deep game

Great but sometimes annoying
This is a really fun game. By far the best baseball game on Xbox 360.
Gameplay is solid and you have a lot different modes like the season mode, become a legend mode or the mini games to improve your skills.
One thing that made hate this game is the annoying rubber band effect. If you lead by 4 points be sure the computer oponent gets 4 runs in the next inning. All in all a fun game for a fair price!
