A 4 mega-pixel auto focus camera with 2.8x optical and 4x digital zoom, the Samsung Digimax A400 captures crisp images. The Digimax has a 2.0¡± colour TFT LCD that enables users to quickly and easily review and preview. The superb 5cm macro mode allows users to capture clear images of subject matter as close as 5cm from the cameras lens.

The Digimax A400 offers a lot of features, including multiple flash modes, adjustable white balance and selectable ISO sensitivity (Auto, 100, 200 and 400). Digimax A400 users can capture both still images and movie clips with audio at resolutions up to 640 x 480 (VGA) at a maximum rate of 24fps. The length of the movie clips are only limited to the capacity of the memory card. Voice recording up to 1 hour can be recorded with the cameras' built-in microphone and sound clips can be attached to individual still images. These images can be stored on the camera's 16.0 MB of internal flash memory, or on an external SD/MMC card.

The Digimax A400 offers 9 different customisable Photo frame modes. Its multiple scene modes include Night, Portrait, Landscape, Text, and Fireworks etc.

With various power sources to choose from AA Alkaline, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, Ni-Mg, Ni-Zn, Lithium, CR-V3, and Digimax I-Pack SBP-1303, Digimax A400 owners can rest assured that they'll never run out of juice.

Fantastic camera and fantastic value
When I recieved my Samsung A400 camera, i was actually surprised by how small and sleek it is - it looks better than the images of it i saw. The 2-inch LCD screen is really clear and bright, all the buttons and menus are easy to use and the pictures are of course, very good quality. It also has lots of good features such as a good movie mode and the option of putting frames round the photos for fun.
If you're looking for a quality camera for everyday use at a very low price then i would definitely recommend this one.

Could you ask for more?
This is a truely superb camera, I was bought one for Christmas and have used it over the past month or so with no problems what so ever. The photo quality is outstanding and resolution is impressive to say the least.

The camera is very easy to operate, on screen menu system is clear and simple within a few minutes you can be up and running and snapping pictures then transfering them to your PC / Mac with the supplied software and USB cable.

I would recomend this camera to anyone of any experience level weather your wanting a camera for just holiday snaps or family photos or if you intend to use it for a semi-professional purpose the software and camera itself is versatile enough to cope with almost every situation with ease.

Never buy a samsung again
I bought one of these cameras and for the first 12months no problems at all then all of a sudden it kept freezing up on me and i couldnt take any pictures I sent it back to samsung who charged me £45 for a repair and damn me a few weeks later it has happened again I will never buy from samsung again might look really cool but all you will have is a lot of problems
