Customer Reviews
Useful for CELTA, Trinity and other TEFL courses
Many people going into EFL are not as familiar eith grammar as they should be; this is evident when, on a training course, only one or two people raise their hands time and again to answer simple questions about adjectives, the Present Perfect etc. It is usually not too difficult to gain entrance into a course, but it is a nightmare when you have to answer a 3 page assignment by tomorrow and 1) don't know the answers or 2) don't have a basic understanding of grammar or 3) don't have a good reference book.
This is not a reference book, in case you were thinking otherwise. Rather it is a refresher course for anyone who needs to review basic grammar before taking a TEFL course. If you don't know what an auxiliary verb is, then you need to review this book. Also, it is suitable for both American and British, as there are few if any differences in grammar at this point of the game. It is simple, to the point and boring; but you will learn what you need to know to do well on a TEFL course, aso long as you realise that you wil still have to buy a grammar reference book.
