Synopsis
This animated children's series remakes Alexander Dumas' classic novel THE THREE MUSKETEERS with canines in all principal roles. Dogtanian leads his three courageous Muskehounds as they fight for justice in 18th-century France--sometimes with unorthodox methods, but always with lots of swashbuckling adventure. This volume collects episodes 10-15.

Dogtanian - blast from the past
Was a real treat to see Dogtanian and the three muskerhounds...is the evil cardinal also Mr. Burns of Simpson fame?
Remembered these from childhood...my boyfriend hadn't seen it before and was rather snooty at first, but then became hooked!
Hope you enjoy it too!
Dogtastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has to be one of my all time favourite cartoons. I was born in 1981 and therefore was exactly the right age to watch this as a child when it made it's UK debut in '85.
Having purchased the first DVD I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. Oh, it's been a long wait. This DVD is arguably better than the first as we are now right in the heart of the story and everything is happening to our little hero. It is however wrong of me to compare them as they are One for All and all for one, and should be judged as a whole.
They are great, and it's everybit as good as I remember. It's great to be able to buy it on DVD, even better than the old vedio releases that only had a couple of episodes on at a time. I only hope that more of our old childrens programmes become available, i.e Pegeon Street and Bertha. But for now this will do nicely.
The bonus stuff on the DVD is basically the same as on the first one, just presented differently. But who cares about the bonus features, they are always overated anyway. It's the main feature that is important. And What a main feature.
If you liked Dogtanina as a kid then buy this and the other DVD's, But buy them from onedvd.com as postage is free and it cost me just 4.85.
It is a shame that there are only 6 episodes on this release and not nine like on the first. Anyhow it's still great. Many thanks to Revelation Films for bringing this out, we are in your debt.
Dogtanian
The second installmaent of this nostalgic cartoon is finally out. It reminds me of my childhood and although it was shown so many years ago, it is still as popular with kids now as it was then. This cartoon was originally made for a French audience based on the famous novel yet translates very well for the English audience.
In episodes 10-15 we see Juliet rescued from the villain by the muska hounds and also get more of Dogtanions troublesome attics.
Great for kids (and adults who the right age to remember it), a definate must have for the collection.
