Sorry, but this doesn't cut it.
I pretty much idolised the Adam and Joe show, which is probably why this DVD seems like such a dire disappointment. It's full of glitches with the sound, and it has far too many commentaries and not enough sketches. The real fly in the ointment is that they actually REMOVED clips that were already in the video they released several years beforehand. The one saving grace is the inclusion of many classic songs, but unfortunately a lot of the videos are missing.

Avoid this and ask Channel 4 to release the full four-series boxset, instead.

More Adam and Joe, Less Toys Please
This is really funny, and if you're thinking of buying it after hearing the XFM podcasts, like I did, go ahead. The 90 minutes of best bits are very enjoyable, but I so desperately wanted more of the comedians own jokes and observations, instead of Star Wars parodies, half of which I didn't understand, because I haven't seen them for years.

Don't let this put you off though, because there are some parts of this DVD that had me and my mates rolling around with laughter, paticularly the street performances and home improvement sketches. I can only recommend this if you enjoyed Look Around You or anything Armando Iannuci or Adam and Joe have done before. Let's just hope they release some more of their own material in the near future.

I agree with Red Rob. Where are the dvds with the whole series on??! This is so utterly disappointing and crap that words escape me. Feel free to insert more wailing and complaining and sniffles here -->.
