They dont make 'em like this anymore.
There was a time when Childrens TV was good clean fun without violence, and this was one of the programmes I grew up with. At the time it never occured to me that these were puppets, they felt real and I could relate to them. Sounds daft I know, but I was a toddler!! When this was released on DVD I had to have it, I used the excuse that it was for my nephew, but he hasnt had a glimpse of it yet as I cant stop watching it! If you remember Fraggle Rock then you too must buy this set as it works out at great value and will amuse kids and adults alike for hours!!

This DVD comprises of 3 Volumes which is the better value than buying them individually:

Vol. 1: Let the Music Play: includes "Caputre the Moon" & "Boober Rock" : 2 episodes
Vol 2: Shake Fraggle & Roll: "Boober's Dream", "Mookey & The Minstels", "A Freind in Need" : 3 Episodes
Let There Be Rock: 2 DVD's that include Red's Club, The Secret of Convincing John, Junior Sells the farm, The Day the Music Died, The Doomsday Soup, Boober's Quite Day, Invasion of The Toe Tickler's plus a documnetary.

Fraggle Rock is as fabulous and exciting as you remembered it was! One cannot help but marvel at that care and technology that went into the production that has yet to be surpassed by even today's children's programmes. Fraggle Rock was created to help us understand the world around in a more positive light and you can't help but feel more positive after watching it. It appeals to children and adults alike with it's humour, fascinating muppets and sets, and very, very funky, catchy songs. Show this to any children you know and they will love it!

Only one niggle: the episodes are not in chronological order and the series are not available as region 2 sets yet; only in region 1 at time of writing (they are also quite hard to come by).
