billy Fury born Ronald Wycherley became deccas most charted recording artist of the 1960's only 3 of his 45 rpm singles failed to reach the charts.Amazingly he never had a No 1 single in the UK, Jealousy which reached No 2 in september 1961 was the highest he ever got.
Billy's first big hit Half Way To Paradise , which reached No3 in the Uk charts in May 1961 was the cover version by american artist tony Orlando, which was unusual because he usually did his own work.
This CD is full of good sounds such as Collette No9 march 1960 , I'd never Find another You No 5 December 1961 and In summer also No 5 July 1963 .
Two of the best tracks on this CD i think are LETTER FULL OF TEARS and IN THOUGHTS OF YOU,which did not do very well in the charts but are very good sounds. These are all original recordings and this CD is well worth the money.
