I love Charlie and Lola!5
I purchased this book for my daughter to take on holiday as it seemed appropriate with the heatwave they were experiencing in Sicily at the time. She loved it as she does all Charlie and Lola books. She is often heard quoting phrases from the books. This one in particular is "Arnold is a Meanie". Now, if you don't want your child to walk round saying things like "Arnold is a meanie" its probably best not to get this book but if you are happy with this then it is FAB!

These books are utter rubbish. Not like usual Charlie and Lola they have been produced for the American market based on characters created by Lauren Child. I sent it back

As I was expecting, this is another winner. I take the books out to Saudi Arabia for reading in assembly in an International School and they are universally enjoyed. The children want to borrow them immediately and they are so well read that they return to me dog-eared. For me, that is the reward of a good children's book!
