Excellent Value
Received this bike yesterday 23/07/08. On assembly all that was needed to do was attach the handlebars , seat, front wheel, front & rear mudguards and the two relectors.
The only tools that were in the kit was a spanner for the wheel/seat nuts and a allen key for the handlebar bolt. To attach the mudguards you will need a crosshead screwdriver and a smaller allen key.
A point to note when assembling is you will first need to attach a metal plate to the front forks (for the front mudguards) BEFORE you attach the front wheel.
The instructions are quite basis and it took me around an hour to complete the build.Went for a first ride and the gears and feel of the bike are ok to me but then again I have not ridden a road bike for approx 20 years.
To sum up I feel the quality and ride of the bike are excellent for the money.
Its a Good Bike Value for money
I got this bike not from amazon but from another online company and its my lost as i would of saved some money. But in general its a good bike for the money easy to fix up as one of the another comments said 3 things to do handle bars, front wheel, and seat easy to do the rides great gears are ok i feel that the other comments against this value for money bike you could take with a few raise eyebrows.for £70 its a bargain worth the money go on treat yourself keep you fit that's why i got one happy biking enjoy.
At £70 nobody can moan
Assembled the bike fairly quickly because to be honest there's not that much to do and took it for a ride. Rides fine although the rear brake was catching slightly but all that was needed was a slight adjustment.
All in all I don't think you can moan because you'd be hard pushed to find anything cheaper. I'd say this bike is spot on for anyone looking at the £100 and under range.
Divided opinions I see on this one but in my view it's worth the asking price.
