didnt fit in the curved top lunch box
I brought this for my 7 year old along with the curved top lunch box and unfortunately was too big and didnt fit inside. well it fit at an angle but then I couldnt get the sandwiches in. The difference with this canteen is thats theres a flip down lid that reveals the drinking staw.

The lid when unscrewed for refilling reveals the detachable staw which can be cleaned separately. Just dont forget to reattach, I did this on school trip day and she couldnt use it.

I have still given a high rating despite my reservations as parent because my daughter loves it and it always comes back empty, her old drinks always came back full which made me worry she wasnt drinking enough at school. It seems to be the flip top lid and not necessarily the HSM motif thats the big appeal - all the girls as school want one.

I bought the high school musical canteen and the simpsons one and i found both leaked in my childrens lunch boxes they were fine for just everyday usuage but not in lunch boxes.

Looks good but a bit small. Doesn't hold a lot of liquid so needs filling regularly if you have a thirsty child!
