Wide angle Wonder
Wow first thing i noticed about this lens is the Size and light weight, Had a Nikon with the Tokina 12-24mm which i loved but i wanted a highly compact set up so purchased a second hand E-410 and this lens based on my reserch on the size and weight of the combination and the highly positive reviews on the performance of the Lens.
Was suggested that there is tiny amounts of distortion at the wide end esp compared to the Third party offerings.
Seems very sharp and contrasty even wide open and Flare is very well controlled.
To sum up i really love using this lens and the combination with the Small Olympus cameras is very very lightweight 700 grams ish compared to 600 for the Tokina lens alone !! and all very small and discreet great for street photography and just about long enough at 36mm for a natural pespective.
Highly recommended and enough for me to have an Olympus camera based on this lens alone ! Brilliant .
Lastly i can handhold at the wideangle at about 1/6 shutter speed so easily usable in doors and at night without a tripod.
