Good, but not perfect3
I totally agree with the other reviewers here, this game is fantastically presented and has loads of features and options (the entire PSP screen is filled up with them). The graphics and sound are amazing for a portable device - also just about every SF character is there with some new ones.

The only reason I give this 3 stars is due to the control, the PSP D-pad and thumb stick just dont let you control the players very well. Capcom even released a special attachment for the PSP thumb stick to make it easier to move the player on the screen.

It's Got it All...almost4
Fun, challenging and visually more impressive than any Street Fighter before it, the PSP version of Alpha 3 also boasts a slew of play modes and multi-player options exclusive to the hand-held, as well as a few new characters (albeit lifted from SNK).

Yes, the controls are iffy. When it comes to pulling off a fire-ball or dragon punch - or even just jumping backwards - the PSP's d-pad isn't perfect. Then again, neither was the Playstation's. When I first played the PSP version, I was expecting a couple of hours of frustration while I got to grips with the controls, but after pulling off a hurricane kick at the first time of asking, I realised it wasn't nearly as bad as previous reviewers have made out. If you're a veteran of the Playstation versions of the games, then it should take you little to no time to get the hang of it.

The only other real down side is the endings, but let's face it, they were always shoddy.

Most importantly, nothing beats Street Fighter for wiling away a long journey, or even just a few minutes at the bus stop.

Welcome Back SF!!!4
SF was an epic game in the 90's, fantastic on the arcade and excellent on the SNES. I love the SF for PSP it takes me back to days when i used to play it all day and night! I am not sure of the extra characters but its still an excellent 2D game for SF fans on PSP.

This is a great game if you enjoyed SF in the old days.
