don't bother if you have stone walls in your house1
Bought this baby monitor as liked the idea of seeing baby without going in the room. This feature is useful.

HOWEVER doesn't transmit at all through stone walls even to the next room.

Also even if you can get picture -is only really in colour when you are in the next room with both doors open -not really much need for a monitor if this is the case!

Most electrical appliances cause interference (microwave, wifi, cordless phone)usually have to turn sound right down as is very annoying!

To be honest would have sent it back but had thrown all the packaging away by the time it became irritating!

A flimsy product but does what it says (kinda)3
The product arrived on its packaging and everything looked normal. But, upon further inspection, I noticed that the center button for turning on and off the screen didn't look right. I pressed it firmly to see if I could set it right and it went all the way through! I was cursing my bad luck and thinking that I had to return it and everything, but then I realized that the cover was only attached with 4 screws. I thought about it, I knew I was probably going to void my warranty, but I opened it anyway. It is a very simple product. With little effort I was able to put the button back. And now it is working fine.

As the other review says, this product suffers from interference from other devices but we already knew this (this is the second one we buy, the first one was lost in an "accident"). The color is good on the screen and the sound is OK. We live in a small apartment so we don't care too much about distance. And the interference is not a big issue, we just plan to use it for some months anyway, so we wanted something cheap. If you have the money, and you care about the image quality, probably you want to spend it on a digital one. This is not a robust product, but if it lasts me until the child is 1 year old, I will be happy.
