Amazon.co.uk Review
This cuddly, nicely made puppy dog offers all the benefits and good quality one expects from Lamaze. As part of their Play & Grow range of soft toys, Puppytunes is designed to stimulate the senses of babies and spark the imagination of toddlers.
He's made of brightly coloured and contrasting fabrics for visual stimulation, in varying textures for small hands to touch and feel. There's a plastic ring to be gnawed on and crinkly ears to be scrunched. He's even scented with a delicious vanilla fragrance so that the sense of smell is by no means left out. He is nicely weighted and sits up well.
But Puppytunes is more than just a pretty face. Each of his legs conceals a rubber horn, sounding four different notes when squeezed. The leaflet accompanying the toy refers to the songbook included, which is really more of an introduction to the kinds of tunes that can be played. Colour coded instructions show how to play a few bars from "Old MacDonald", "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and "Three Blind Mice". From there, possibilities are limited only by the imagination and creativity of the individual player.
Even if it isn't the infant who's making the music, Puppytunes is a very sweet addition to any child's nursery or collection of toys. It's also one to grow into, as the toy range name implies. The leaflet says suitable for birth and up, but this is a fair-sized puppy dog, (nine inches tall, sitting) so he will probably appeal more to babies once they themselves can sit up unaided. Surface washable. –-Ann Prahl

The firm favourite
This is by far my son's favourite toy. Right from birth he has loved the chequered black and white ears and now (at 5 months) loves the crinkly noise they make. He smiles everytime he sees the puppy's face. He hasn't even discovered he can make notes with the legs yet so we've got many more months of fun to come. I definitely recommend this toy
Always raises a smile!
This colourful dog was an instant hit with my daughter, the bright colours, crinkly ears and musical legs made her face break out into a smile and has done every time she see's her dog. Though a little large for her to handle herself at present, this toy will provide much enjoyment for her.
A favourite toy
We have been using this toy since birth, at first he was amused by the colours then by the crunchy years and now by the musical legs. This is one toy that your baby will find interesting and enjoy exploring.
