Galt wooden puzzle jigsaw4
This puzzle is roughly the size of an a4 page. The pieces are a good size for little hands and aren't small enough to pose a choking hazard. My son was given a similar jigsaw at Christmas and some of the pieces were quite jagged - the pieces in this puzzle are well finished off & rounded. On the downside I did notice that my son (1 year old) had difficulty getting some of the pieces out of the puzzle. Overall this is a very colourful jigsaw, worth a couple of quid. Probably more suitable for a 1 1/2 year old as the pieces are a bit difficult to get back out of the puzzle once slotted in.

Fantastic educational toy5
We're given this as a gift when my little boy turned one. He's always been into animals so to begin with we'd just pick out the animals and do their noises, but now he loves spending 10minutes taking the pieces and putting them back in.

We bought another one from tesco with dinosaurs and they quality difference is obvious, one of the pieces has already broken. The galt puzzle is very good quality and the pieces are smooth around the edges amking it more suitable for a 1yr and 18month old. Highly recommended.

MY DAUGHTER WANTED TO EMPTY ALL THE PIECES AS SOON AS SHE GOT IT , TOOK A FEW ATTEMPTS FOR HER TO REALIZE WHAT TO DO BUT NOT SHE HAPPILY PUTS ALL THE SHAPES BACK INTO THE SPACES WITH NO PROBLEM REALLY GOOD FOR THEM TO LEARN ANIMAL NAMES AS WELL AS SHAPE SORTING !!
