Customer Reviews
Invaluable!
This seat makes it easy and fun to bath a baby on your own without worrying about them banging their head - i don't know how I'd manage without it! (They do sell it cheaper in Tesco though!)
For the majority, excellent.
I know alot about babies, I know alot about this product and the 'Negative' reviews don't surprise me as I expect some people to be like that.
If your child is 'sore' or uncomfortable I would expect they will be the same in a highchair, some kids are just like that.
This product is a world wide best seller backed by one of the largest Nursery brands in the world (Dorel= Maxi Cosi, Quinny etc)
Safe, secure, excellent transition once able to sit to 12 months. Washing ANY part of the child is not difficult (except if you are a difficut parent with low patience thresholds!)
Fun for the child, Safe (Yes with 100% Supervision as it should be in a BATH full of water!) and highly recommended to the majority.
Enjoy!
Hooray, hands-free baby bathing!
I used this seat with my younger children and found it invaluable. It safely contains your baby so that they can sit up and enjoy their bathtime without you having to constantly hold onto them (which in my experience, they HATE!).
I do agree with the point that it makes cleaning their bum a bit tricky but I used to just leave that till the end and take them out the seat to clean round there. As for it being difficult to get them into the seat, this could equally apply to getting them into a highchair, car seat or buggy. Babies seem to know when you want them to co-operate and deliberately set out to do the opposite, LOL. It IS a hard surface for them to sit on but they're only in the bath a short time so that shouldn't really be an issue. Most babies have well-padded bums and I never noticed my kids showing any discomfort.
I found the suction cups to be EXTREMELY powerful. In fact we had a poo accident in the bath one evening and I had a very hard job getting the seat to unstick itself so I could clean up the mess!
I would have given this 5 stars except for 1 thing; The toy is quite difficult to attach and if you put it on the wrong way round it is VERY VERY hard to remove.
