Don't fall for my mistake
I feel a complete idiot. The picture looks like you get both fairies, especially as there was no obvious place to choose your preferred colour. As a result I felt completely ripped off when I opened the box as I would never pay that much for one Barbie. On closer inspection it does say Princess not princesses I know, and now I have been to the shops I have seen them boxed up. I will make sure I do a sweep of the toy shops first in future just to check what the product really looks like.

Barbie fans BE WARNED
It's Christmas Day! My 6 year old daughter is ripping open her presents, one of which is this Barbie-tastic fairy doll (or whatever its title is...) Yay! The packaging is great! Glittery, pink, fabulous wings that transform with Barbie's raising-of-arms motion into a ball gown... Wow!
At least, that's the theory. An hour later, and Daddy is sweating and frustrated, and daughter thankfully not crying but playing with a better toy instead. The wings don't even attach properly. And when you think you've done it, you move the arms, half the dress tries to move and falls off, and the other stays put.
'I'm afraid it's rubbish' is the announcement. Another Barbie toy bites the dust, but this time before its even had a trial run...

Barbie Fairy-tastic
This looked lovely when it arrived, in time and at a good price. I only had time to take it out of its rather overlarge package, repackage it and send it off to Australia. It was a slight disappointment not to have it delivered straight there, as it was late for Christmas Day. On the other hand, the squeals of delight I heard over the Skype line was well worth the delay. My Grandaughter, who is 4, says it is the best late present Santa could send her.
