Twenty years after its initial release Nirvana's debut album 'Bleach' gets the remastered treatment. Original producer Jack Endino returned to the studio with the original analogue tapes to oversee the remastering process, while in addition cleaning up a previously unreleased live show from 1990 which is also featured. The album's mix of sludgy, down-tuned punk influenced metal and Cobain's classic songwriting at first sold only 40,000 copies and it wasn't until their secondalbum 'Nevermind'- which kick started a whole new genre andpropelled the band into the mainstream - that 'Bleach' became a hit.

This is early Nirvana RAW!
The album Bleach only contains a couple of good tracks, but the 20th anniversary has live tracks that show Nirvana as they should have been heard - LIVE.
I never saw them live, and this CD gives me a taste of what I missed out on.

Quite a good classic record with unnecessary bonus live but it fit
Bleach and InUtero are my favourites Nirvana realises.
This 20th anniversary edition sounds exactly the same of the old version but there are a nice live on Portland (11 tracks) and a raw nice version of SAPPY.
The digipack is really cool and nice, full of pictures(around 50pages) but THERE ARE NO LYRICS. The good thing is that the album is out through SUB POP and not through GEFFEN.
About the album I can say that here are layers of feedback and distortion, the pop inspired undertone, the fuzzy, choppy, noisy distorted guitar and screaming vocals. Its detuned pop punk garage noise heavy hard rock metal. This is a mixture of 70`80 rock music.. in it you can find Flipper, Melvins, Kiss, Black Flag, Red Kross, Cheap Trick, The Replacements, Anvil, Motorhead, AC/DC, Butthole Surfers, Zero Boys, Alice Cooper, Sonic Youth, Husker Du, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath.

I bought this album for 7pound and I think Is a good deal.

Renew your collection
I have already collected all the stuff related with Nirvana and their components, and with this CD I have noticed a difference on how it sounds, it is good to be able to compare with the old ones.
