these speakers are really loud and have really good sound quality. i was going to by the 1ds 01 but then i saw these and they looked really good. when i got them i was very amazed at the size of them and thought that the sound would not be very good or loud but i was wrong. you should by them they are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great value speakers - but not for 4th gen Nano
Bought this for my daughter's 4th gen iPod Nano, having read good reviews and loving the Amazon "deal of the week" price. The sound quality really is amazing - compares pretty well with my Bose SoundDock which cost several times as much - and overall it looks and feels like a quality product.
One problem, however - the Amazon product description says "Compatible with all iPod family." Unfortunately this isn't true - it doesn't charge the latest Nanos, and I assume therefore some of the other newer iPod models.

IDS-05 Ipod player
This is a great unit and the sound is awesome concidering it's size and price. The down side which stopped me giving it a full star rating is that it is advertised as being fully capatable with all Ipods. This isn't true as this unit was designed before the 4G came out and they have changed the pin arrangement and it will not charge the 4G Ipods.
However when I contacted Intempo they did confirm these details to me and were quite happy to send me a adapter that works with the 4G free of charge. I haven't recieved it yet so I can't comment on the adaptor only that Intempo were very helpful.
