Hmmm3
This got sprung on us when my 5y/o son went to see Santa, and said he wanted a power ranger truck, as per the list he wrote at school. 'Oh yes,' said Santa, 'we have one of those in stock."
DO YOU??? I thought. And WHAT LIST AT SCHOOL? (nb, must talk to teacher next year)
So anyway, after an initial panic and flapping of arms, and a flex of Mr Credit Card, Santa very kindly brought this.

It's big, red, and the battery cover broke within 2 minutes - but we just taped it shut so it was OK. It has lots of moving parts and a little rocket launcher that fires small pieces of plastic at relatively innocuous velocity.
It has lots of small parts for tiny kids (younger than 3) to stuff up their nose, or choke on.

They played with it, ignored it for weeks, and then started playing with it again. It is kinda cool.
If you want to get the best out of it, order more power ranger men & some power ranger stickers, invite lots of little boys round, and give them a nice sugar lift with fruit juice and watch them rocket.

It might be big, red, loud (oh yes, it's loud) and it might need batteries and it might take up loads of space and scatter stuff everywhere...

BUT

that's what little boys like. Go on, buy one. It's a laugh!

Fun but big4
According to my 4.5 year old son, this is an awesome toy.

He loves to put his rangers on the truck- exactly where they are on the box of course! It has the space to hold all 6 of them, including mercury ranger.

The one I bought came with one ranger- red ranger, but I had to buy the others. You can use any rangers with it, but there are some specific ones with a little panel on their chest and when you use these ones with it the truck 'recognises' them and greets them by name 'Yellow Ranger, action stations' or something similar and something about their weapon

Upside is it is a lot of fun, has a few different lights and noises on top of the individual recognition of the rangers. Also several children- 3 quite easily- can crows round it and shove rangers on and off

Downside -It *IS* big- about 50 cms when assembled (assembly is very minimal- so its one of those toys you need to find storage for- it is at least not ugly so it can sit atop a chest of drawers without looking too awful. The bit where the character can sit in the back and be slid out on the seet is rubbish- not that it matters too much- and doesnt do what it should really. Also the 'offical' rangers that 'work' with it, witht he panel on theor front are no longer made so you will have to hunt them out. Won't matter if you have a less OCD son than mine of course!!

If I could have given it a 4.5 I would, but I cant so I gave it a 4.

This toy was extremely expensive for what it is, it is quite heavy, the drop down dooy at the back constantly comes off, and my son is unable to pull off the lazer extending arms to put on the sides when he wants, which fraustrates him and me! It is much bigger then I thought and at first looks very impressive, but I think the age on it is slightly to young as it is hard to manovre and pick up etc.
