The one small snag
A super watch to own - it does exactly what it sayes 'on the tin' but the wrist band may be too long.......

Adjusting the bracelet of a Canon WV59DA-1AV WaveCeptor.

You will need a small pointed tool and a hard surface covered with some protection so you don't scratch your new watch. Hold the watch firmly and always push tools away from yourself so if they slip they don't hurt you.

To shorten the wrist band you need to remove one or more of the links marked with an arrow. Each one has a sliding, removable piece and to get it out you need to put a small screwdriver or awl (I used the point of a pair of compasses) into the hole at one end and lever (quite hard) towards to outer edge of the strap. The first try showed a tiny amount of movement on the edge of the wrist band and it needed several further pushes to get the sliding piece far enough out so that I could pull it the rest of the way using pliers.

The links will still be firmly connected, so bend the link next to the one you have removed the slider from, up to a right angle when it will click free. The pin that holds the links together can then be slid across to the centre of the exposed link and angled so it can be got out and the band is now in two pieces

Repeat the operation on the next link (or links depending on how many you want to remove). When the band is the right length, reverse the operation. I.e. Angle the pin into the centre of the exposed link, manoeuvre it back to the edge and then re-insert the slider to hold it in position.

A fine watch,a nice clear display, easy to read.
Poor user guide, print, much too small,could have beeen much larger, no information on how to shorten the bracelet.

Good product. A bit light but just something I can wear all the time.
