Very successful present
I bought the Village Shoe Shop for my five year old goddaughter. She absolutely loved it. She was able to use all of her Sylvanian Family figures (adults, children and babies) with the set and spent 3 hours on Christmas day putting the shoes on and off them. Every pair of shoes is different - there are male and female shoes, trainers, high heels, sandals etc etc! There is also a chair for trying on, boxes for the shoes and a mirror! It was a huge success.

Great addition
This is a great addition to any sylvanian collection. From the varied collection of different sized shoes, to the display cabinet and the little pots of polish, this has given my children a lot of pleasure. Be warned though, like all sylvanian cardboard boxes, the shoes boxes are fiddly to put together and did not survive after a couple of weeks. As for trying to stick teeny stickers onto almost invisible pots of polish.. tested my patience to the limit! Thankfully, sticking them all on is a one off job.

Like all Sylvanian families items, it does have an element of frustration for younger children. Trying to set up all the shoes neatly in a line on the tiny shelves did lead to tears of frustration for my pre schooler. However, this is not a design fault of this particular pack, more a general fact of Sylvanian tiny toys. Despite this, both her and her older sister have played with this many many times so worth the money.
