Amazon.co.uk Teacher Review
Produced to be used with My First LeapPad, Pooh's Honey Tree is an interactive story and activity book to reinforce first learning concepts and, above all, make learning fun.

The bright, bold illustrations are based on the modern Disney designs, and as youngsters turn each page, they are presented with a new activity or a new page from a story. Using the "magic pen" on the First LeapPad, pre-schoolers are encouraged to match shapes, find opposites, identify colours and shapes, match pairs, identify patterns and much more. When they get to the end of the book, they simply turn it around, and start to read the "Pooh's Honey Tree" story, following it word for word, again with the pen.

Sturdy, wipe-clean and visually appealing, the book is the perfect compliment for youngsters who have mastered the book included with the First LeapPad unit. It brings a fresh, innovative and interactive approach to learning traditional, basic skills with the help of an old favourite--Pooh Bear. Pre-schoolers (the book is aimed at 3+) will love to follow their friends in the Hundred Acre Wood, and won't even know they're learning. Great fun and a lovely way to get pre-readers interested in the written word. --Susan Naylor

Pooh and Leapfrog - A winning combination4
This is the best of the books currently available for the "First Leappad"system in the opinion of my toddler. The simple reason why? It featuresWinnie the Pooh! This would be a good book to get if you want to get yourchild into using the Leappad system, and once they've got the hang of it,you can introduce the others.
The book can be read as a story, witheach page containing activities or games, and then turned around forfurther activities. One typical page asks the child to point toparticular parts of Pooh's body, and another asks the child to point tovarious houses found in the Hundred Acre Wood in order to help owl findhis party hat.
This Pooh is the Disney version, so purists might notbe as keen as my little girl, but a strength of the product is that thevoices do sound very much like those from the films.
In short, if you've got the "My First Leappad" system, and your childshows even a passing interest in Winnie the Pooh, then I would suggest youbuy this book. There's a lot in it!

Good on you, Pooh Bear!5
Our daughter received the 'My First Leap Pad' for Christmas and we bought the Winnie the Pooh Leap Pad book as an additional to the one supplied with the device. Well, you can forget the Frog character that comes with the Leap Pad...Pooh rules and as a result it has been the big success story this Christmas. Being instantly recognisable has meant that she is more willing to play with the Leap Pad and thoroughly enjoys using it and tends to try to do more things than with the original book.

Although not the most durable toy in the world due to it's need to be constantly flipped from page to page for different activites, we are finding that it is taking the strain OK. Especially now we have made sure she doesn't eat and drink whilst using the leap pad.

We love the My First Leap Pad and the Minnie the Pooh interactive book have enhaced that enjoyment for us all.

Nice quiet time3
This toy is lovely and instantly recognisable because of it being Winnie the Pooh. It is a lovely thing to sit down and help your child with and to see them play the games and make the sounds. However the pages are still just paper like the original one that comes with My First LeapPad and so isn't hard wearing but it isn't designed for that sort of play. My boys love it and they have a head start trying to read the words because the characters are already so familiar to them.
