Brilliant - Perfect present
My mum bought this for my son's 4th birthday and it has not been put down! He loves it, it is simple to use and he can do most of the games alone. He is learning and having fun at the same time. It is small enough to take in the car and on holiday (which we will be doing) The mouse is easy to use and it is a good introduction to computers for pre-schoolers. The only thing I can find that is a problem is that it doesn't use phonics which is what the children are being taught at school.
Lovely laptop
I bought this Thomas Laptop to stop my very advanced 2 year old using my computer! He enjoys playing the find the numbers and letters games at the moment, even though its meant for 3 years plus, its easy to understand. He's dropped it on the floor a few times already but it still works (although I wouldn't recommend dropping it deliberately!) Only complaint is that the pixels on the screen are a bit big so its not always easy to see what the picture is meant to be, but it doesn't seem to bother the 2 year old. Overall, excellent value for money.
Thomas Computer
The only negative about this product is that you can't independantly turn off the music. This bothers me, but not my 3-year-old son, who loves this toy. He is a bit too young to understand all of the games, but has picked up 2-3 of the very quickly. With 30 games, this leaves plenty of "growing room" in this toy. Durability seems good, so far.
