Style over function
Whilst the actual item is an attractive piece of decoration, its display bears minimal resemblance to that in the photograph, being hopelessly dim - with or without illumination.

Unless aligned perfectly, the tiny subsidiary function characters and numbers are obscured by the two horizontal bars.

And the impressively fat instruction book doesn't include this model.

I have never encountered a product whose function and presentation fall so far short of its supposed purpose.

Diesel Watch DZ7069: The best watch i ever had
It is truly a beautiful and awesome watch. The strap is comfortable, the screen is clear, plus everybody wants to take a look at your new watch. Nice engravings make for a great finishing touch to an already great looking watch.

Good watch
The DZ7069 is a good looking watch with enough functions for day to day use. It takes a bit of getting used to because the numerical display is recessed quite deep in the case and can be obscured in places by the face lines, making it difficult to read if you glance at it at the wrong angle. The white on black LCD display is clear in bright sunlight but can be harder to read in lower light conditions: but that's what the back light is for.... Small niggles, but generally very happy with the purchase.
