Great bike for price!!
We bought this bike for my son's 3rd birthday as he is tall for his age and are very pleased with it. He couldn't actually pedal a bike before we got him this but he has learned how to ride it properly within a week. It is a lovely sturdy bike and did not take long to put together at all. The only thing I would mention is that the metal arms of the stabilisers could be a little stronger, but on the whole a nice little bike and much much cheaper than in any bike shop we rang for prices.

Very good, all apart from the one major design flaw.....
First of all, the good news. This bike offers exceptional value. The build quality is, in my opinion, better than the price suggests.

However, there is a major detraction to this products design. For some reason, and i cannot work out why, this bike has been designed with an exceptionally high bottom bracket (for the non cyclists out there - this is the axle assembly for the pedal cranks). What this does is give the bike a very high centre of gravity making it fine in a straight line, but not so stable around corners. It also renders this this bike pretty much a beginners bike only - as there is no way that the floor can be reached whilst maintaining a seat height that enables any reasonable pedalling action once the stabilisers are removed.

So, if the designer responsible could change the frame geometry to drop the bottom bracket by 2-3 inches this bike would be a 5 star purchase. As it is, it is flawed, and usable only for learning....

Bought this bike for my nephew - I researched bikes everywhere !!
This one by far the cheapest (least saving - £18.00). Arrived quickly and easy to assemble.
Can't beat a raleigh bike and my nephew loves it - highly recommend this one.
