Manufacturer's Description
Duck egg blue ceramic tea pot. "More than mere vessel, my Tea Pot offers a touch of good old British tradition and elegance, so that you can savor and share the best drink in the world as it warms your heart and spirit, and makes you feel cozy all over. I created it to be a civilizing and anchoring force in the kitchen, one that makes the world a little more welcoming for a while, even amidst an otherwise frenzied lifestyle."---Nigella lawson

NIGELLA LAWSON'S LIVING KITCHEN
Nigella Lawson is one of the UK's most popular food writers and broadcasters. Her range of kitchenware items, designed in collaboration with Sebastian Conran of Conran & Partners, was launched in 2002. Her day to day experience in the kitchen led to her desire to improve the tools of her trade; the result is an original, practical and stylish range of kitchen items ideal for today's home cook. Paying close attention to form, materials and colour, the Living Kitchen collection is of a high production and design standard. Traditional materials such as ceramic and wood are used in a contemporary and imaginative way, improving the function of the products. Delightful to use and a pleasure to display in the kitchen; as Nigella herself writes:- "Everything has to be utterly reliable, but there needs to be a pleasure beyond the functional.
For me, pieces of kitchen equipment are like toys for grown ups: getting them has to feel like a treat." From household favourites such as mixing bowls in Nigella's signature colours of "white with soul" cream or duck egg "good mood" blue, to elegantly curved cooking tongs, each item brings something new and useful to the kitchen. Sophisticated packaging makes Living Kitchen products ideal to give as gifts, or as a personal treat.

Good looking teapot for soaking the table!1
On the plus side this teapot looks great, the colour is lovely and it is a good size. On the down side, the lid is very loose and rattles about on top of the pot and more significantly the spout does not pour well at all. The shape of the spout makes it difficult to see the tea coming out and even if the tea makes it into the cup without spilling all over the table first, once you tilt the pot upright the spout continues to dribble tea down the side of the pot. There's no point in having a good looking teapot if it can't pour so unless you are happy to spend your time wiping up the puddles from this teapot - don't bother! This is probably the worst item I have ever bought from Amazon.

a potty teapot1
My kids bought their mother this teapot for Christmas. It is a great looking pot but what is a point of being good looking and not able to perform the task you are created for. This teapot does not pour only into the tea cup but also all over the table and it continues to drip after pouring. Infact we had a great Christmas competition with friends & family to see who could use the teapot without dripping. Nobody won!

I am afraid this pot is not fit for purpose as it does not pour. I no longer attempt to use it.Nigella Lawson Tea Pot Black
