Manufacturer's Description
Salt and pepper service in 18/10 stainless steel with thermoplastic resin containers. A magnet allows the containers to be positioned firmly on the base, but they can also be attached to the steel stem, creating playful new configurations typical of Stefano Giovannoni's designs. It is directly influenced by the spirit of the F.F.F. (Family Follows Fiction) metaproject, which from the 1990s onwards explored the object creation process followed by children and primitive cultures.

Amusing condimenting
I like these. They cheer me up in a sometimes dismal world. I like sticking them to the top of the pole-thingy and twanging it, although occasionally I feel they're looking at me reproachfully when I do this a lot. That is possibly more an issue with me than with the product.

Large ground pepper-bits do not fit through the 'eyes' but finer stuff has no problem. Have had these for ages and have refilled many times with no problems, nothing broken or worn. The pole thing in the middle bends easily - be careful when cleaning or around kids. Salt pours out at a decent rate, not dinner-ruiningly fast like some salt shakers. The little condiment-creatures have magnetic feet so can be stuck to other things too, providing literally minutes of fun.
