40 litre Brabantia Touch Bin (Flat Backed)
The functionality of this bin is excellent: the flat wide rear shape means it sits closer to the wall than an equivalent capacity circular shaped bin, and it is therefore very discreet and elegant (as far as any bin can be!).

The touch bin lid is plastic and therefore easy to wipe and clean.

And it really is free from finger prints in the fingerprint proof finish.

50 litre bin liners are a fit for the 40 litre bin.

Excellent!
We decided to upgrade from the stainless bin to the fingerproof Matt Steel bin. We've had the stainless bin for a couple of years and after a quick wipe-down, it looks good as new. The opening is wide enough for a dustpan, the lid mechanism works great and unless you've got wet paint on your hands, it's truly fingerproof. 5 out of 5 stars, without a doubt.

Brabantia Fingerproof Touchbin
It isn't cheap, but this bin has more thought put into it than you'd think possible/reasonable. Not only can you cover your hands in the most disgusting stuff and leave no marks on it despite your best efforts, but it functions perfectly from the fantasitic lid opening mechanism to the way you can fold bin bags around the liner, which allows you to easily get the rubbish out, giving a very tidy intallation with no risk of trapping your fingers. As far as I am concerned bins come from Brabantia.
