This Part is key to the Coffee Maker's success!
Forget all those expensive plug-in coffee machines! We have been using this style of stove top coffee maker for many years. After a couple of years of daily use, however, the funnel begins to become mis-shapen. (Emptying the used coffee grains by banging on the side of a bin can be a reason for this). This seriously affects the steam direction through the funnel and you will find that it is producing a much lower level of coffee. So replace this simple part and your coffee maker will be as good as new!
