cheap and nasty
Please don't be fooled. These earrings, as well as others from this company (Oi!) look very pretty on-line, but you will be disappointed when you see them. I ordered three different pairs, and when I received them I realised that I could not give them for gifts. In the picture they look very dainty, the pearls very pretty. In reality, the "pearls" look like cheap plastic, with no iridescence at all. The "pearls" are strung together with thick, very noticeable, nylon thread. You can imagine what that must look like on tiny beads. It is all loose and looks extremely tacky. I know I didn't pay much for them, but I wouldn't have kept them if they had been a free gift. I am now returning all three pair. Be forewarned. This is not up to Amazon's usual standard. Stay away from this Oi! brand.

Oi White fresh water pearl & crystal earrings
Having read a couple of reviews on this product that were not that good, I bought it as thought it would go with a pearl necklace I already have to wear at a special ocassion coming soon. The review I read said the strings it was suspended on were thick & obvious, making the item look cheap. I beg to differ. The thread the pearls are suspended on is see through & similar to stretch magic used in beading work. It can be seen, but not overly so & seems strong enough that it won't break if an earring gets caught somehow. Sure, these did not come in a fancy box, but that isn't what you are paying for. I think they were a good buy & if giving as a present, small fancy boxes are easy to find on the high street. They also go very well with my necklace, so I, for one, am happy with my purchase. pretty earrings
These earrings are pretty and I enjoy wearing them but must say I was a bit disappointed in the hooks. They are so small for the size of the earrings - would have been better to have larger hooks. I struggled a bit to insert them in my ears and I feel they are a bit fragile for the size of the earrings. Also, the cord on which the little pearls hangs is rather thick and can be seen clearly, which is not that great. The Crystals - I think there are two, are hardly visible. Has somewhat put me off buying more Oi products.
