Great mobile
We originally bought the Mothercare jungle mobile but that got taken straight back to the shop once we realised how loud it was. This Fisher Price mobile is great. It looks smart; the toys are of a good quality; there are two settings for the sound and even the loudest is not too loud. We bought two for our twins which works great because we can have one on the rainforest setting (sounds of the rainforest) and the other on music setting - Mozart, Bach or Beethoven. At bed we tend to switch both to rainforest setting as it is very calming. We liked the fact you can play the sounds / music with or without the mobile turning. Also love the nightlight feature. Our twins are 9 weeks now and are starting to take notice of the overhead mobile. They are definitely calmed by the rainforest sounds. Once started it runs for 18 minues. Also comes with remote control, although we haven't used this yet. Overall, excellent value for money, considering the Mothercare mobile cost the same!

Best mobile ever!
My boy absolutely loves this mobile and it's excellent value for money too. Like the Tiny love ones it plays three classical tunes at two different volumes, but it also has the added bonus of the rainforest noise. Sam finds the colourful animals mesmerising and loves to bounce around under it during the day, but is happy to drop off to sleep under the quieter jungle noise too. The remote seems to work even from outside his nursery and even when not pointed towards the mobile which means I never have to disturb him, plus it plays for a whopping 18 minutes, so plenty of time to brew a cuppa. My son's just started to notice the nightlight which is a nice feature. My only slight gripe is that I think we've worn ours out a little after 5 months, and sometimes it stops spinning and needs a little shove. It maybe something that we can sort out ourselves with a little clean but given how much use it gets daily I'm not surprised!

great mobile
We bought this mobile when our daughter was approx 3 months old and we moved her into a cot. It's a great mobile, the music is nice and the rainforest sounds are very soothing. Our baby also loves looking at the dangling animals and smiles when the mobile is turning around. The motor is quiet and the music also has two loudness settings which is good. I've only got a couple of complaints about it though, one is that the leaves don't go up and down very well - I'm not sure if it's just our one or if they're all like it and the other thing is that the remote control unit makes a really loud click when you press it which wakes our light sleeper up! Also you have to be practically standing next to the mobile for the remote to work. Overall it is a great mobile which our daughter really likes.
