Customer Reviews

Quality bike, excellent value for money5
I have to firstly say, when Amazon advertised this as 'arriving soon' I expected the price to be much higher. So, once the price was announced, I was expecting it to be more comparable to say the Raleigh MT range not ATs like it seems to be.

This bike, for the money, is excellent. All the parts are quality, Shimano, etc, and it looks really good too. It is not exactly as the image, for example the forks suggest adjustable suspension, which is not the case. However, for the price, you can't really expect that. For a reminiscing self, it's like having a 'modern' Raleigh Grifter.

I ordered this product and received it on a 2-5 delivery within a couple of days.

Recommended straight away to friends.

Tools not included !4
Exactly the same problems as the ladies version.
Despite the assembly guide promising "Allen key(s)" and "multi-spanner" there were no Allen keys included and the multi-spanner (a flat piece of metal with hexagonal holes puched in it) doesn't fit anything on the bike.
An Allen key was needed initially to completely detach the brake cable from the front brake so that the handlebars could be untangled from the frame before being fitted. The same key is then needed to fit the bars. A second key (different size) is needed to fit the saddle. A spanner is needed to fit the pedals as the provided "multi-spanner" doesn't have a hole of the correct size.
You'll also need a pump as the tyres are very soft.
The good news is that once assembled the bike is excellent.

Stop reading the reviews - buy it!5
My old bike called it a day and I needed a replacement PDQ - this is it. I paid extra for the next day delivery and it arrived, next day. Didn't take long to get it set up and my, what a smooth ride and easy gearshift.

I've lived off cheap bikes as an adult and not owned a Raleigh since my childhood. I've come to the conclusion that the cheap bikes from discount stores are not worth the agro - this is different class. It's very red, well built and a dream to ride. Buy one and enjoy.
